Frequently asked questions

What date will Shropshire Petal Fields open?
Our Petal Fields are now closed for 2025, we will be back open again in 2026 with dates to be launched in Summer 2026.

Are professional photographers/videographers allowed?

No commercial photoshoots will be allowed without one of our day Photographer passes; these are available to purchase with our tickets. These allow entry for the whole day that is booked for you only, your guests will need to purchase an admission ticket.

Drones are not permitted in our fields whatsoever, even with a photographer pass.

Can I pick the flowers in the field?
Please don’t pick or damage the flowers, after all, there won’t be anything left for others if you pick them all! We will have freshly-picked bouquets that you can purchase.

I've purchased tickets, but I can't find my confirmation/tickets?

Your tickets are generated automatically once you have completed your purchase and are sent via email. If you're unable to find your tickets, please check your junk/spam folder, if you're still unable to find them, please email us on fun@shropshirefestivals.co.uk.

Do you have toilets?

Yes! Portable toilets will be available near our picnic area. We will also have a baby changing area sponsored by Tiny Swimming located next to the toilets.

Will the fields be suitable for pushchair and wheelchair users?

Due to the nature of the field, we kindly advise that the ground will be uneven and in places softer than expected. Both the field and our Woodland Walk are accessible to wheelchair and pushchair users, but please be aware that movement around these areas may be tricky in places.

Am I able to bring in food & drink?

We will have a cafe on-site serving light refreshments, including hot drinks, cold drinks, and snacks. You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drink, we will have a dedicated picnic area underneath our tipis for you to sit and enjoy.

What if the weather isn't great on the day I'm coming?

Great British weather can be unpredictable at times, so we cannot guarantee sunshine all week long. Our fields will be open even if it is raining, so please embrace it, wear wellies, bring raincoats and umbrellas - the pictures will still look amazing!
It is at the discretion of the event organisers to close the event due to poor weather conditions. Please keep an eye on our social media channels or your email inbox for any updates should there be weather warnings in place.
